MLB Fan Cave – Help a 06010 fan out

Wondering what the MLB Fan Cave is? Here’s what it’s all about.

The MLB Fan Cave hosts fan events, concerts, MLB player and celebrity appearances, as well as the nine Cave Dwellers who are attempting to watch every game of the 2012 MLB season while chronicling their experiences online through videos, blogs and social media. Along the way, they are competing with one another in a series of challenges, with fans online helping decide who gets to stay in the MLB Fan Cave and who gets eliminated, with one eventual winner crowned before the end of the World Series. Fans can follow all of the activity on Facebook and Twitter (@MLBFanCave).

I bring this up since we’ve got a fellow 06010 fan in the top 52! His name is Bryan Mapes (@IAmMapes) here’s his plea to the 06010 community.

“Dear Fantasy Cave Dwellers,

My name is Bryan Mapes and I am respectfully asking for the Fantasy Focus bump.  I’m a long time fan who helped make the “Rocky Mountain Bias” name game drop.  I recently was named to the top 50 for the 2013 MLB Fan Cave. Voting is going on now through February 13th and is unlimited.  I would love to represent fantasy baseball and the 06010 in the MLB Fan Cave.  If I make it all the way I will promise much like Scott Porter to work “Whoa Crazy Crazy” into a Fan Cave video, use that hashtag anytime any thing crazy in MLB happens, and would love to have you guys (even Pod Vader) come record a podcast at the Fan Cave.  I understand how valuable the Fantasy Focus bump is from podcast awards to gingerbread roller coasters.  I even noticed that CC Sabathia interview with his hashtag aired after voting ended, is he on the cover of a video game?  NOPE  That’s the power of the Fantasy Focus bump, please use your powers for good.  Stephania has already betrayed me and supported the Giants girl from San Francisco.”

So, head on over to MLB Fan Cave and vote for Bryan! They’ll be narrowing the field down to 30 on February 13th and the top 30 get invited to Spring Training!
