Weekend recap

There was actually a decent amount of bets decided this weekend, thanks to some wild board betting on Friday.

  1. Who has more fantasy points in week 9: Felix Jones or Brandon Jacobs?
Jones had 1 point and Jacobs had 7 points. As a Redskins fan, Matthew should’ve learned his lesson to bet with a Cowboy. Jones was horrid again and even though Jacobs apparently lost his goal-line carries, he still gets enough work to put up decent yardage.
    Winner: Jacobs (Nate)
  2. Who has more fantasy points in week 9: Jahvid Best or Brandon Jackson?
Jackson finished with 18 points, while Best had 8 points. Jackson only had 68 total yards but benefited from 2 TDs. Best was a decent play but couldn’t find the end zone.
    Winner: Jackson (Nate)
  3. Who has more fantasy points in week 9: Jahvid Best or Jonathan Stewart?
Best had 8 points and Stewart managed 1 point before leaving with a head injury. Stewart might’ve had a chance to beat Best since he was off to a good start in the game.
    Winner: Best (Matthew)
  4. Is Mark Sanchez a top 14 QB in week 9?
Going in to the Monday Night game, Sanchez is tied for the 6th highest QB points this week. It his late TD score and yardage in overtime that put Sanchez up this high. It’s not that often you see a QB finish with 21 points, even after giving away the ball 4 times.
    Winner: Yes (Nate)

It was a good weekend for Nate, as he picked up three more wins. We’ll find out tomorrow what the rest of the board looks like after week 9 in the NFL wraps up.
